FROM NY TO RI.

Sorry I've been MIA. I've been out galavanting. My bad.

First stop: Fairfield, Connecticut.
I went to visit some good 'ol friends at their new place. I won't mention that on the way up I saw a lot of this...
TRAFFIC.
That supposed to be hour and a half (max) trip turned into a three and a half hour trip. uyyy.

Otherwise, we had a great time just hanging out, catching up, and sharing meals together. The only picture I got from this stop is the restaurant Ali took me out to for an early birthday lunch at Molto- a fabulous little Italian restaurant (she knows me!) where we sat outside and sipped on a glass of wine. I might add that the weather was absolutely perfect! Thanks Al and Bry!

Next stop: Barrington, Rhode Island
This is where I got to see Rachel who I hadn't seen in about four months! I used to live with this girl for the past 4 years where I had seen her everyday- and going to nothing for four months...we had withdrawals. And the great thing, when we were back together we didn't skip a beat. Immediately back to our silly, ridiculous selves. Love it.
Anyways, this was an action-packed day where we headed into Providence to meet up with another friend, Kate. But we first, after a little begging on my part, stopped at Antonio's to get a slice of pizza. I always try to stop here whenever I'm in Providence to get a slice of this delicacy. They have the best pizza in New England, by far.

(pesto, mozzarella, tomato, basil, and portabello- Uh HUH!)

We then went to Waterfire on the Providence River. Such a neat event. Next time I go will be with a boy- Yup!

Next stop: Newport, Rhode Island
In celebration of Rachel's birthday, Liz's birthday, and my birthday, a big group of us headed in to Newport for the evening to go on a schooner around the Newport Harbor. When we got there we joyfully accepted another celebration, the engagement of Brittany and Tim! YAY- CONGRATULATIONSSSS! :)
But let me tell you, this ride was gorgeous. I'll let the pictures do the talking.

 (unreal)
(ring finger for the newly engaged Britt and Tim)

(Yay!!!)

And then we made a little stop to get a little bit of this...
Can't go through fall without some Pumpkin Ale.

Last stop: Narragansett, Rhode Island
I think I made it to every corner of the smallest state. I stayed here with Kate. This girl is so special to me, and I don't even think she realizes it. We had a fabulous time just being ourselves, being real with one another, and sharing great memories while making new ones. Some friendships never change as time passes apart- and that's when you know that it's real.

Cheers to a memorable weekend.

P.S. Happy Birthday, Rachel! I love you girl.
